Plan a party

Everything a host needs before the doorbell rings, and an optional program for the room.

Create the party with a name, a date, the place and the kind of night, then share its one link so guests can answer. The guest list, the answers to your questions, a potluck list, Secret Santa and an optional plan of activities all stay on the party’s page.

Invitations and RSVPs

Every party gets one link and a QR code. Send it however your guests talk to each other: a group chat, a message or an email. Guests open it in any phone browser, see the date, the time and the place, and answer going, maybe or not this time.

Nobody needs an account, a password or an app to answer. The guest list keeps itself: it shows who confirmed, who might come and who cannot, and it updates as the answers arrive, so you never count replies by hand.

Questions and a potluck list

Ask your guests up to three questions with their answer: anything they cannot eat, a drink they would like, a song for the evening. Add a potluck list so people say who brings what, and nobody turns up with the fourth bowl of crisps.

The answers are for the host only. Guests see their own answers and can change them until the party, and a guest who is no longer coming gives their potluck dish back to the list.

Secret Santa

Draw names by link, with a budget and the pairs who must not draw each other. Each person opens only their own name, once, from their own link, and can leave a wishlist for whoever draws them. Nobody has to put names in a hat, and the host never needs to know who has whom.

The kind of night

When you create the party you pick the occasion and the crowd: friends, the office or family. That one choice decides which activities and prompts fit the room, so the questions at the office party stay office-friendly and the family evening works for every generation at the table.

You can change the details until the day: the time, the place and the map link. Guests see the change on the invitation the next time they open it.

Activities for the room

If you want them, add a program of short activities for the people in the room, each guest on their own phone. Pick a Friend, Pick a Side, Tough Choice, Agree or Disagree and Have You Ever? are votes. Trivia, Rapid Fire, Guess the Clue and Team Battle are quizzes. Charades, Truth or Dare, Who Am I and Draw and Guess are turns. Party Bingo and Photo Scavenger Hunt are lists to tick off around the party.

Every activity works in a phone browser except Photo Scavenger Hunt, which takes photos and so needs the app; the host is told before the start if anyone cannot join it. The activities are entertainment for the room and nothing more.

Fair for everyone in the room

Every guest sees the same question at the same time and has the same deadline, wherever they are sitting and whatever phone they hold. Guests in a browser take part on equal terms and see the same results. Votes are never shown by name: the room sees how a question split, not who chose what.

The prompts are written to get people talking to each other, not staring at their phones. A good round ends with someone explaining their answer, someone else protesting, and the whole table laughing.

Choosing the activities

Pick the activities by hand, or let the plan builder in the app fit them to the time you have and the mood you want. A calm evening starts with votes; a lively one moves on to quizzes and turns. The plan shows how long it takes, and it is fixed once the live program starts.

Only activities that work for the people you invited are offered, and you can plan, invite and manage the whole party without choosing any.

Questions hosts ask

How do I invite guests?

Share the party’s one link or its QR code in a group chat, a message or an email. Guests open it in any phone browser and answer going, maybe or not this time; the guest list updates as the answers arrive.

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests answer the invitation and join the party from the link with only the name they want to be called: no account, no password, no email address and no phone number.

Can I plan a party without choosing any activities?

Yes. Invitations, RSVPs, the guest list, questions for guests, a potluck list and Secret Santa work without a single activity; the program for the room is optional.

How many guests can join?

Up to 80 guests can be in the room for the live program, each on their own phone. Guests must be 13 or older to join.

What happens to my data?

Guests give only a nickname, and the answers to the host’s questions are for the host only. A finished party is deleted 365 days after it ends and a cancelled one 30 days after it was cancelled; guests can delete their answer from the invitation page, and the Privacy page explains the rest.
